health & wellness
At DRIFT Beauty Co. the health and safety of our clients and staff is our top priority. We adhere to strict sanitary protocols and preventative safety measures to ensure a clean and sanitary environment at all times. Our equipment and treatment areas undergo regular sanitation and disinfection to prevent the spread of germs and to maintain a hygienic and/or sterile space. We have also implemented measures such as providing hand sanitation stations throughout the studio and wearing medical face masks while performing any treatment. We kindly ask that our clients complete the online Client Intake and Consent Waiver Forms in advance of attending the studio, as well as inform us of any health concerns or symptoms prior to their appointment. Please RESCHEDULE if you are feeling unwell, and note that we reserve the right to reschedule appointments if necessary to safeguard the well-being of everyone in our studio. Your health and safety are paramount to us, and we appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a safe environment for all.
RESULTS
We are dedicated to providing our cosmetic tattooing services with the utmost care and attention to detail with the goal and intention of achieving optimal results. However, the tattoo process is an artistic technique performed on a live canvas. The two sides of our face have completely different bone structure, fat tissue, collagen, texture, etc., and therefore, absolute perfection is an unrealistic expectation. There is no stencil, stamp or machine that can guarantee that your two eyebrows will be perfectly identical.
It is also important to note that the healing process will vary for each individual client, and as such, we cannot guarantee specific healed results. While we strive to achieve the desired outcome for each client, factors such as skin type, age, hormones, immune systems, lifestyles and aftercare practices can greatly influence the final appearance of the cosmetic tattoo.
We are committed to providing comprehensive pre-care and aftercare instructions and products to optimize healing and prolong the longevity of your tattoo results. However, additional Touch-Up Appointments may be required to address any areas that may require further enhancement once the initial healing process is complete and/or to achieve desired outcomes. Our goal is to ensure that every client leaves DRIFT Beauty Co. feeling confident and satisfied with their experience, understanding that final results may vary from person to person.
For eyebrow tattoos, the use of cosmetic products may still be required to achieve your desired look. We do not offer REFUNDS on any services.
Correvtive or existing tattooS
If you have an existing cosmetic tattoo and are interested in a cover-up/re-work you must obtain confirmation that we are able to adequately cover-up or correct your existing tattoo BEFORE booking your appointment. Prior to booking an appointment, we ask that you send us a clear photo of your existing tattoo via email to info@driftbeauty.ca so that we can assess and determine if a touch-up or revision is possible at this time.
If you book an appointment without obtaining prior approval for same, you will risk losing your booking deposit if we are unable to proceed with your appointment.
As stated above, we cannot guarantee results. If your previous tattoo is too dark, discoloured or misshaped, tattoo removal is highly recommended before booking an appointment with us to achieve optimal results. Corrective / Cover-up work generally requires additional sessions and touch-ups will be charged accordingly.
BOOKING, CANCELLATION AND LATE POLICY
A $105 non-refundable booking deposit is required to confirm and secure your appointment. This deposit is to ensure that you are committed to attending the appointment, and will be applied towards the total cost of your procedure.
Once an appointment is scheduled and a deposit is made, it is considered a commitment from both parties. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, leaking to the need to reschedule appointments. In such cases, we require at least 48 hours notice for appointment changes. A cancellation fee of $150 will automatically be charged to clients who fail to reschedule or show up to their appointments, without 48 hours cancellation notification.
Please contact us if you are going to be late or cannot make your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances. Clients who arrive over 15 minutes late may lose their appointment, and a re-scheduling fee will be apply.
We appreciate your understanding of our policies, as they allow us to manage our schedule effectively and accommodate the needs of all our clients.
PROCEDURE REFUSAL
The safety and well-being of our clients are paramount, and therefore, certain individuals may not be eligible to undergo a cosmetic tattoo procedure. Clients who are under 18 years old, pregnant, breastfeeding or are undergoing chemotherapy are not suitable candidates due to potential risks to their health and healing process. Additionally, individuals with certain medical histories, concerns or conditions, such as eczema, psoriasis, or active acne in the treatment area, allergies to metals or make-up, prone to keloid scarring, HIV, hepatitis, skin cancer, hemophilia, or are taking steroids or medications for acne, may be advised against the tattoo treatment to prevent complications or undesirable outcomes. For your own safety, and to avoid negative results, scarring and hyperpigmentation please notify us if any of the above apply to you.
We reserve the right to refuse services to clients who do not meet our eligibility criteria or who may have medical conditions that contraindicate the procedure. Our primary concern is ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients, and we are committed to providing honest and professional recommendations regarding the suitability of cosmetic tattoos for each individual.
